There has been a spate of so-called "new members" joining this forum to place unwanted spam messages all over the place. Earlier today I deleted a lot of these prats from the member list and called them "inconsiderate bastards", which is of course, what they are. UNFORTUNATELY, I noticed, after I had pressed the button, there were three real members inadvertently included in this list and I would like to apologise to them. I can't access their details to do so personally, as I've deleted them. So......SORRY, please don't hold it against me and re-join the Baywatch Forum. I have now put in place a screening process - to a point - whereby all new member requests are scrutinised before being accepted, so hopefully, this will weed out these bloody nuisances.
Nowadays, there are companies who set up hundreds of fake memberships and post rubbish every day. This, of course, boosts the membership numbers and visitor numbers to forums, making them seem busier than they are. Why, I can't imagine, but there must be a money-making angle somewhere.
Anyway, I'm about to clear out a lot of old posts and hopefully we can get rid of some of the junk posts. If yours disappears and you'd like it back, please feell free to re-post it.
Right, here we go then........
