I've never been a fan of these "Traditional Sunday Lunch" thingies as we're in Spain and I like Spanish grub a lot, but then, the few Sunday Lunches I've had, both in Spain and back in the U.K. have never been up to much - well, they tend to cook it all on the Friday and keep it warm(ish) 'til Sunday. WELL, I've got to re-think, 'cause yesterday we were delivering Baywatch (yep, we work on Sundays as well) and we went to La Vista de Medina to drop off books and were met by Gary who sugested we stay for lunch - although we hadn't booked. All I can say is wow! it was brill! The food was all freshly cooked, beautifully served in fabuloso surroundings and we were treated royally, as were the other diners there. We had roast lamb and a scrummy pud after and what impressed me (being a bit of a piggy) was we had Yorkshire Puds with it!! Yippee...... Coffee on the terrace afterwards looking out over the countryside - a view to be cherished, especially on a sunny day like yesterday. All in all, I can thoroughly recommend you try it - it's only 20 mins from Chiclana and there's lots going on this month. Hope I haven't embarrased Gary by writing this, but I thought he deserved the benefit of my opinion. Well done matey. You'll do well!
